Productivity

  • Raycast

Application launcher, clipboard manager, window manager, and everything-else launcher. Replaced Alfred and never looked back.

  • Cal.com

Open-source scheduling tool that protects my calendar while making it easy for others to book time.

  • Obsidian

Local-first note-taking with bidirectional linking. All my notes are plain markdown files I actually own.

  • Amphetamine

Menu-bar app that keeps my Mac awake during presentations, long builds, and downloads.

  • Magnet

Window snapping for macOS. Drag windows to edges or use keyboard shortcuts to tile them instantly.

  • 1Password

Password manager for everything. Shared vaults for team credentials and CLI integration for secrets.

Finances

  • Robinhood

Used to invest in specific stocks and ETFs for short-term investments.

  • Wealthfront Investments

I use Wealthfront for more long-term investments. Invest for retirement: Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, SEP IRA. Invest for education: 529 College Savings. Invest for everything else: Individual Accounts, Joint Accounts, Trust Accounts.

  • Wealthfront Cash Account

Not quite a bank... with zero accounts fees, and ~3.8% APY. I pretty much park money here before sending to their investment accounts. I don't feel too bad letting it sit around with 3.8% APY.

  • TradingView

The best tool for stock information, charts, and executing trades with Alpacca.
